I wanted a simple activity that would help my youngest develop. So I decided to focus on helping him to learn the colour red. This for me was an obvious choice with Valentine’s coming up. He also used drawing and glueing skills.<\/p>\n

Glue on red tissue paper<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Cut out small hands<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Draw around a big hand on red paper<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We used a red pencil crayon too<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Cut out the hands<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Glue the small hands onto the big hands<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

These can then be used on a Valentine’s card – or make a bag from paper<\/a> and fill with treats, and glue these on the outside.<\/p>\n
