Sunday 21st<\/sup> June 2015 here in the UK is Father\u2019s day. My husband is a pretty amazing father<\/a> and so deserves spoiling as much as possible. The Father\u2019s Day Hamper<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Father'sI think hampers are such a great idea, especially when you put them together yourself. The Father’s Day hamper includes everything a dad could need to make him feel special throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The Way to a Man\u2019s Heart is through his Stomach<\/u><\/em><\/h3>\n

My youngest child will inevitably wake up really early, excited that it is his dad\u2019s special day and want to spoil him. Therefore, the first item I have included is some Duerr\u2019s<\/a> Strawberry Jam <\/strong>(\u00a31). This has 45g of fruit per 100g. I felt that this was a safe way for my 6 year old to spread on some croissants safely.<\/p>\n

I knew that the Zac & Lily Breakfast in bed kit<\/strong> (\u00a310.00) would be just perfect to include in the hamper. Included is some very important Teapigs Tea temples – so that my 11 year old can be making his dad that all important morning cuppa. Whilst my 7 year old can follow the instructions to make American pancakes (add an egg and milk with the measuring cup, add the mix and whisk). Then whilst I fry the pancake there\u2019s a breakfast tray mat for the youngest to colour in. They can then use the pancake shaper to the pancake and extra special touch.<\/p>\n

For lunch again the small children can help by preparing dad a sandwich using Duerr\u2019s<\/a> Peanut Butter <\/strong>(\u00a31.99) with 92% roasted peanuts for a crunchy texture. It is gluten free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans**.<\/p>\n

By dinner time the teen will be awake so we will be treating dad to a barbecue. The older children can cook or dad can do it himself (if that is what he enjoys). Jack Daniel\u2019s Barbecue sauces<\/strong> (\u00a31.99) have a whole range to compliment the food. As you would expect this is a good quality shirt and feels really soft. It has a real front pocket and perfect for both smart and casual events.

The Scruffs Sports inspired Digital Watch<\/strong> (\u00a319.95) is water resistant and shock proof – so perfect for whatever dad wants to get up to with his day.  Functions include telling the time (who knew?), an alarm, a light and a stopwatch. Father\u2019s Day Quality Family Time<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

\"Father'sWhat is lovely about Father\u2019s Day is that we make it a time to stop. Dad doesn\u2019t need to be tiling the bathroom, or fixing the dishwasher, it is just a day to relax. Why not keep him sat down with a family board game. University Games have a range of games guaranteed to make Father\u2019s Day special whatever the weather. I opted for 5 Second Rule<\/strong> (RRP \u00a319.99). A game of quick thinking and fast talking, for 3-6 players ages 8 and above. The object of the game is to answer the most questions by giving 3 answers before the ball twists down to the bottom of the 5 second timer. If players name all 3 they get to move forward a space on the board, with the winner being the one who reaches the finish first. With added PASS ON and SWITCH cards if a player does not want to answer and pass it on to another player. With the Danger Zone meaning they have to get three right or they miss their next turn.<\/p>\n
