\n\"Tesco<\/a>Family life can be hectic and when it comes to the end of the day ad cooking an evening meal you may just have run out of steam. In a bid to avoid heading for fast food (because I am not organised enough to pre-plan dinners\/use a slow cooker) I decided to try Tesco\u2019s Family Favourites* in the chilled section.<\/p>\n

\"TescoTesco\u2019s Chilled Family Favourites are 12 different recipes of favourite dishes ideal for the Winter months that just need heating up. Some even have been prepared so that at least one of the five a day makes up quarter of the pack.<\/p>\n

\"TescoWe opted for Tesco Family Favourites Carbonara Pasta – made with Italian penne pasta bathed in cheese sauce topped with Beechwood smoked bacon and broccoli. The meals are made for 4 but my lot can eat a lot so we purchased two packets (\u00a36 each). This was MUCH cheaper than eating out and a lot healthier.<\/p>\n

\"TescoWe did not expect The Sensory Seeker<\/a> to eat it as he isn’t really keen on vegetables and does not like his food wet\/touching each other. Needless to say it was really tasty and he did it! He even tried the broccoli (which he decided that he did not like but even putting it in his mouth is a huge achievement). The packaging (all apart from the film lid) can all going in the recycling too. \u00a0It only took between 30-35 minutes to cook and are suitable for home-freezing.<\/p>\n
