\u00a0We were delighted to be given the opportunity to have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny with The Garden Centre Group<\/a>. They are one of the UK’s largest garden centre chains operating 139 centres across England and Wales. \u00a0They stock a wide range of plants online and in their centres as well as garden furniture, flowers and much more. With a free to join Gardening Club<\/a> which gives 5 points for every \u00a31 spent in the garden centre and online, with the over 60s receiving double points on Tuesdays.\u00a0Breakfast with the Easter Bunny runs until 24th<\/sup> April<\/strong> (dates and times varying by centre). It costs \u00a39.95 for children, \u00a37.99 for adults to have a full English, or only \u00a34.95 for a mini adult breakfast.<\/p>\n

\u00a0What struck me most is just how friendly and considerate the staff were. Unlimited squash was provided but when my youngest asked for juice instead this was provided without question or fuss.\u00a0We were one of only two families having Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, in a private conservatory. We were greeted by Alice in Wonderland and the Easter Bunny and they stayed throughout the whole experience. We had plenty of opportunities for photos and to interact with them both.\u00a0There was plenty to entertain the children as soon as they arrived, with sheets on the tables with birds to spot, word searches, colouring in (and crayons), jokes, as well as their goody bags to take home. The bags included a soft toy as well as some mini eggs.<\/p>\n

\"Breakfast<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0We were asked how quickly we would like our breakfast too, without making us feel rushed. When the breakfast arrived we were impressed with the small cups utilised to put the beans in. Our youngest son has sensory processing disorder and this has an impact on how food presented can make a huge difference to whether he eats it or not. The beans (being a wet food) visually not touching any other food meant that he ate well.\u00a0The adults Full English was yummy, and we were provided with plenty of tea. I have not a bad word to say about any of it. There was a full array of sauces and again the staff were truly hospitable.<\/p>\n

\"Breakfast<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0After breakfast the children then made their Easter nest with Alice and the Easter Bunny to take home with them. I think that making the nests, the goody bag (containing a soft toy) and the breakfast alone made it good value for money \u2013 then you have to take into account the excitement of the Easter Bunny being there.\u00a0Also available is Tea with the Easter Bunny.<\/p>\n

I think it is a lovely idea to get the children involved in all elements of gardening, which can include the designing and shopping for what is needed. Our second oldest son learnt about where best to plant things based on how the sun moves around the garden. He drew maps of the garden in the morning and evening, showing where the light was. Our garden still has a long way to go but we have discovered that we do indeed have a patio, just by removing the unwanted dirty gravel. Hopefully we will get it all nice this year.<\/p>\n
