This post covers parkrun tourism reviews by a Jeffer. Linking to the many parkrun events (currently all UK based) where I have been Jeffing at parkrun. Jeffing is the name given to a run/walk technique. You may also be interested in my previous post – Jeffing at parkrun things to consider – including ratios.

People who Jeff maybe doing it for a variety of reasons – new to running, coming back from injury or quite simply because it is a great technique which works for them.
Different parkrun Events and Jeffing
Not all parkrun are as easy as others for a Jeffer. Not without potentially upsetting people. Obviously anyone could be running and needing to slow down but as a Jeffer people may wrongly assuming you are going too fast. They may also assume you should be “slow” and feel you need to start nearer the back. Often there are comments about going at a consistent pace is better.
However, some parkrun courses are ideal for a Jeffer being on big open spaces, and a lot of other people Jeffing there. I write about my parkrun experiences to help others and remind myself should we wish to return.
