Disney Pixar Cars is a classic and Mack the Transporter a much-loved character so it stands to reason that he would make a great toy to play with. Inspired by the film it can be used for storing Lighting McQueen and his friends and transporting them about. Mack can also park up and open up to reveal multiple play areas – with plenty of space for McQueen. There is a washing area where Cars can grab a scrub and massage, a viewing deck plus Mack’s cab can also be detached from the trailer for more push around play and folded back for easy storage.
This iconic set celebrates the special friendship between Mack and Lightning McQueen as shown by the big picture on the side of the truck. You can also see that Mack quite clearly has all the iconic labeling (such as his eyes and the words Mack and Rusteze). Also inside there is a rest are where Lighting McQueen fits – then he can pull forwards and watch television on the flat screen – perfect if there is a race on! The Mack Truck connects with other play sets and accessories in the Story Sets line to help kids build out the exciting world of Radiator Springs and tell their own stories! Inside there is a road that has pieces where they can connect for both Cars and Planes sets on either side. Inside there are also moveable parts like a strip to divert vehicles inside Mack instead of further along the road; there is a ramp that goes up and down; moving parts in the car wash; the fuel pump and a car platform to lift McQueen up and change his tyres before tipping him off again.
Mack is really simple to play with and pushes along well. His front is able to swivel so it is easier to get around corners. As he is made of plastic he is strong and easy to clean.
