Star Wars Rebels XXL 100 Piece Puzzle: Ravensburger

Star Wars is so phenomenal – I mean which other film has its own day (May 4th/ May the Force)? It would therefore come as no surprise that everyone is going crazy for the Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens teaser!
“From the popular Star Wars Rebels America animated television series (produced by Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm Animation) the image shows Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Zeb Orrelios, and Ezra Bridger in action. The Rebels defeat the Empire with their actions, anger and power”.
The puzzle is recommended for those ages 6 and over. It is a 100 pieces and clearly split into a top and bottom section. It took my bright 7 year old approximately an hour (late at night if I am honest) to do – half of which was after he had worked out the outer edge. He told me that he found the puzzle really easy to do and the only tricky part was the fact that there were two laser weapons. There is also writing on both sides of the bottom of the image – but he did not find this difficult at all and in fact was how he started to piece it together.
The pieces are of high quality and feel like they will have a long levity of life. I liked how the back of the puzzle pieces are all just plain – giving a grown up feel to the set. I think the image on the box is a very good replica of that on the puzzle piece and was a great guide for helping my son to complete the image. It is approximately 49 x 36 cm so the pieces are the perfect size for the age range. The puzzle itself fitted nicely on our small coffee table.
I like that the Star Wars Puzzle was full of action and gave my son lots to think and talk about during and after building it. I think that this puzzle is good for any Star Wars Rebels fan, or any adults who wish to help their child share their interest in Star Wars before the release of the new film later this year (December 2015 in USA).
