Bristol Entertainment
There is plenty to keep everyone entertained in Bristol. I am actually going to take my 3 youngest children to Bristol after Christmas to see a special relaxed performance of Dick Whittington. This is a special performance aimed at anyone who may benefit from things such as lower noise levels, lighting and the ability to move about or clap their hands. Usually it is those on the Autistic Spectrum, Sensory Processing Disorder, Communication disorders or learning disability. We previously enjoyed the relaxed performance of The Gruffalo Live in Birmingham and am sure it will be just as successful. I am really excited as the cast includes Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh & Pudsey and CBeebies Ben Faulks (aka Mr Bloom).
Other places I really like to take the children to are: @Bristol which is very interactive and educational, Bristol Zoo and Gardens and in the summer the International Balloon Fiesta. A little further afield is also Westonbirt Arboretum – which currently has The Gruffalo’s Child trail
Not forgetting visiting Clifton Suspension Bridge, Brunel’s ss Great Britain, and the fountains! Plus there are plenty of places to shop in and not forgetting the Mall at Cribbs Causeway. I think that we may even pop over and visit their Winter Wonderland – the South West’s largest outdoor ice-skating rink.
I am sure you can agree that Bristol is a great place to stay, with plenty to see and do. I think this trip might just sell it to him. Oh and not forgetting that they have an IKEA!
